If Israeli minions will drag Greta by her hair, torment/torture her in front of her comrades and force her to kiss the Israeli flag, imagine what they do to Palestinian children on a daily basis. Remember Israeli cabinet members debated and openly discussed r@ping Palestinians in custody.#Palestine

Trauma-informed practice that ignores power, carceral systems, neoliberalism & state neglect isn’t care, it’s merely a watered down performance and pacification. We need frameworks that resist carcerality & honour liberation.

Why Trauma-Informed Practice Isn’t Enough
Beyond ACEs, surface-level empathy, and the illusion of “widening windows.”

Abolitionist “leadership” is about refusing to replicate the same carceral logics we claim to resist.

If we preach harm reduction or trauma-informed care, then we must practice it with each other not just with the ppl we serve.

If you are incapable or unwilling to see the stark double standard here then, there is simply no hope for you and you will remain a sad and stagnant part of the problem. The veil has cracked and you will one day reckon with your own heart

#charliekirk sympathizers are a whole level of delusional. I’m sorry but we’re 500 years too late to cry “violence isn’t the answer” atleast 7 ppl on my fb unfriended me today and frankly I’m mindblown that there were ppl still on my list who pandered to white nationalist violence

Crime doesn’t arise from a lack of morality, it arises from a lack of access.
Private property hoards resources, then criminalizes the hungry.
We don’t need more punishment.
We need to end the system that values property over people.

Our 🖤 story is a bit unique. We met on the street while we were both unhoused and using unregulated supply in the dtes. Our relationship started at Insite.. I always say we’re not more valuable now than we were then. 14 years and 2 kids (son and nibling 11&12 yrs old) later, we’re still here!

Canadian nationalism is a stain on society. It’s simply land theft and exploitation, capitalist colonial fantasy under the guise of democracy and “multiculturalism”

It’s here. I poured my heart into this piece on transformative conflict rooted in abolition, healing, and care. It’s free to read because care should be accessible. If it resonates, sharing or supporting means the world to me.

The idea of PWUD being deserving of safety, dignity and respect is not debatable.
“Offers.”

So keen are they to double down on the criminalization of people who use drugs, they can’t even wait for renovations! This is just administrative segregation in prison, i.e. solitary confinement. The casual depravity boggles the mind.

The government says the dedicated beds are currently available in a segregation unit at the remand facility while renovations are being completed on a different living space.
