Doing what I can to help those in my community, and those underserved, live in a more inclusive, thoughtful, and equitable world - 27 | he/him | 🏳️‍🌈📚🎮⚾🎂
I'm not 100% sure a Dem can win, but I have my fingers crossed for an upset! We need to keep fighting, even if victory isn't guaranteed.

I remember hearing about this yesterday. I think no matter what, Democrats should invest in it and help lay the groundwork. Virginia was reliably red until Obama in 2008. The more authentic connections we make with communities, the more likely a *future* win will happen.

If you don't fight, you don't win. Even if it's an uphill battle, you have to make the effort. Thank you Marc (and your team!) for fighting for democracy. Because once one state gerrymanders this heavily, it forces every state to gerrymander heavily and then we end up with no democracy.

Bipartisanship should be used as a tool. If bipartisanship were to get us affordable healthcare, or a livable wage, or improved working conditions, then by all means - but it feels like some politicians view bipartisanship as a goal rather than as a means to an end. It's disappointing.

It absolutely will not. It's fucking infuriating to see people argue for bipartisanship for its own sake. Elected officials were elected to make our lives better and advocate for us, not to make deals with people who would never agree with beneficial policies to any situation.

Regarding ACA, does NOT speak to affordability!! Government workers deserve to be paid, but you can't say "we're going to make things more affordable for you" then turn around and say "oh well, hrm, actually, healthcare can be more expensive because we think it would benefit us politically."

Now's not the time to waiver. Now's not the time to shut yourself in. Now's not the time to stay home.

Now is the time for taking action: to vote and let your voice be heard. To say, unequivocally and without hesitation, we demand our rights.

If you need VA election info, please feel free to DM!

While the governor has no role in this, your state delegate does. Then, in 2026, it'll be on a statewide ballot.

We have the chance to enshrine human rights in our constitution. To protect healthcare, marriage, and the right to vote after debt to society is paid.
