Agreed. I mean republicans have been trying to repeal Obamacare for over a decade now. We don’t need a vote to know how they feel.

According to a source, Jenna Norton, who led a letter criticizing Trump's decimation of the NIH (see below), has been placed on administrative leave. She's the first at NIH to be put on leave, joining EPA officials who criticized Trump policies.

If nothing else, I think we owe it to each other to bear witness. To share these stories with people that we know so that they don’t get lost in the sea of news that is happening constantly. The goal is for us to check it out, if we refuse to do so then in a small way we win.

Call your senators and your congressman. It sounds small but it can add up. Especially if you can get multiple people to call around the same time. I feel like I have heard that ten is a good number (I could be hallucinating). I have written scripts for family/friends and encouraged them to call.

Umm I think a cis white male is a perfect ex of someone who doesn’t know how the system works. That could be a person that has lived in it so long that they can’t see it.
And I did vote last November. I’m not playing the victim. I’m trying to focus on how to fix the system and not just complain.
