It’s liberals as a group and @libdems.org.uk and @eddavey.libdems.org.uk as a group who can pivot and change the course of this country which is lurching to the right. Pandering to the far right will only bring destruction. Always stick to your principles no matter what the other side crow about.

The promising thing most people are genuinely nice to each other and when they see rhetoric they fight back not by going on to the streets but their simple acts. Tesla getting owned and boycotts show people are inherently nice.

The irony of #trumptariffs is that he is bringing the people of the nations he is trying to split and field them against each other. It’s working the opposite and will result in anti American feeling throughout the world.

Listening to James O’Brien talk to Laurence Rees (writer of The Nazi Mind: 12 Warnings From History) is terrifying. The parallels between now and then are stark. Dehumanisation of targeted groups, using conspiracy theories to propel propaganda. Playing on innate fears. It’s happening again.

Attended the #holocaustmemorialday and it was a sombre event to remember the 6 million plus Jews and other countless minorities killed by the Nazis. This tragedy should never happen again. @auschwitzmemorial.bsky.social

Question to fellow liberals, why I get that feel that holding liberal views while also being religiously conservative is being considered incompatible and we who hold those views are despised. I would like to know your genuine response on this.

#traitorsuk is such a mind game which totally freaks one out but also brings out the best in humans to feel for each other and trust. If there is no trust in the world, we would be orphans.

My hunch is that it won’t be long before #trump will throw #elonmusk out as he won’t fit with the his ego. Give it another 2 months and the whole cookie will crumble. We have seen this already with #vivekramasamy
