My husband and FIL are at the Dream Theater show, and I am enjoying a large Negroni and what was once a raging fire due to our fall housemates (paper wasps) deciding it was time to move back in. I have said it be for and will say it again, wood burning fireplaces are all that great.

I picked another bowl and a half of cherries this morning. I would need to get out a ladder to pick the rest, and I’m not really that motivated, so this is likely the end of my cherry harvest for the year. I have almost a full gallon storage bag full.

For my bachelor dinner tonight I made Ina’s Parmesan chicken and Grossy Pelosi’s “The Sawce.” The rest of the night will be spent on the couch getting caught up on S3 of White Lotus.

I have said this before at the old place, but figured I would share it here now too. This is probably my second favorite cookbook that I own. I’m making the Wicked White Bolognese tonight. For those that are curious, Dinner by Melissa Clark is my absolute favorite, and I own a LOT of cookbooks.

Last week/this weekend sucked. We have both been sick, and have been dealing with some of the lows in life, so before the new week starts I am drinking a glass of wine and watching this week’s episode of Yellowstone.

I was supposed to have dinner at Meritage tonight but I have had a headache for the past few days and I just don’t feel good, so instead I am on the couch with a cup of tea and the latest episode of Yellowstone.
