I've seen the first two eps so far. Enjoying it. It was definitely a choice to have the dialogue and acting seem more contemporary, and I noticed it, but I didn't mind it. Some of the humor probably would have been lost if they stuck with dialogue of the time. Music was a little odd, though.

Remember the exploding cellphones in Lebanon? Classic supply chain intervention.

Like they locked the two little gates? It’s not like it was manned, right?

I was polled by them the week prior. My responses did not help Allred. I replied to his donation texts with "please don't run". I seem to have effectively blocked the texts now.

Canceled it back when he killed the Harris endorsement. It officially ended yesterday. I am Prime no more!

Sorry. Didn't read what the OP wrote. Obviously you were reacting to Mike Lee's stupidity and not believing the letter was real. My bad. But people are definitely seeing it and reacting.

When COVID meant they had to cancel, I got a refund instead of deferring. I wound up being very glad they didn’t end up there.

Super white and wealthy. Pre-camp activities were held at country clubs. It was just all weird and off-putting. There was very little info online about it.

Insane take.
They’re not necessarily wrong about some of these TX summer camps, though. My kids were supposed to go to one in 2020. The closer we got (before COVID canceled it), the less comfortable I was getting seeing all the people who were going. It seemed like a UT Greek system feeder.

I was there, too. Lots of fun. I did discover that you cannot get me to participate in the YMCA at this time, though.

Exactly! I am into anything these days that shows adults - and especially men - being silly with their friends without being toxic to each other or others.

Just let yourselves have some good, silly fun sometimes, y’all!

I was at the game last night. It was a blast.
