Just a candy cane to distract him from the Santa snow globes when we were in Butler’s. And he got a book for being such a champ, but that wasn’t offered beforehand as a pre-outing bribe.

Yikes! I just found it, it’s in one of the neighbor villages. Thought it would be a bit further out with that much property at that price, but whoever is spending that much will surely want to update some things.

Hihi hello just butting in to say what? The prevailing opinion I’ve heard down here is that no one in their right mind would take more than 10-12 and refinancing then to extend it is a terrible idea. To which I’ve always been like then how tf are people affording the prices around here?

Whereas here we have a Bahama Beige with Flamingos situation, and the fixtures were perma-stained long before I got here. I’ve been here 12 years now, no amount of scrubbing helps, and it’s borderline embarrassing having people over.

I had a pink bathroom in Nbg and actually it was kind of complementary when getting ready. Sadly we discovered mold behind the wallpaper and my landlord redid it to standard-issue company bathroom gray and white.

For sure. I’m not saying renovating or buying new furniture every couple of years is the way either… I’d just love to not have to immediately redo a bathroom or live with perma-stains indefinitely.

I mean there are plenty of places with multiple bathrooms but most of them are out of our price range so here we are. 🫠

Yeah been doing that too. Nice to know we could pay 3x our budget to share a wall and still have a bathroom from the 70s (though that one had two awful bathrooms to choose from). It’s oddly comforting?
