Started a new crochet project tonight and I am obsessed! I’m accustomed to making things that are pretty repetitive, so having each row be unique is really fucking cool and I am so here for it. Also this yarn is STUNNING. It’s hard to see in the photo, but it has a fine silver thread in it.

It’s a plum harvesting weekend. There are already six full ziplock bags in the freezer. The tree is still so full.

Bragging time! The assembly instructions said this would take 60 minutes and two people. I went over that time by about 10 minutes but I did it all by myself 😎

It was a very food-and-friends focused weekend and I love that for me ✨

I had a fantastic 3 day weekend and I think today’s gallivanting around Whidbey Island was my favorite part.

Accurate as hell.

Doing a little three card spread this morning for a message to carry with me for the day, for the remainder of the week, and some insight into my reiki practice & where I’m feeling compelled to take it.

It’s been a wonderful Saturday.
Kicked things off with my reiki 2 attunement, did some gardening, and am now relaxing in the bath with my lover while he reads (it’s raining and the skylight in our bathroom makes it extra loud)

My tarot pull from today felt very high-level/global scale (the way we navigate and recover from the corruption & abuse of power is CHANGE), so I pulled a more personal-level card to round it out. Not only is it a gorgeous card, but the message really resonated. Trust in your emotions. #witchalt

I helped friends move yesterday for 8 hours straight. I was supposed to go up to the mountain with my boyfriend today, but he could see how exhausted I was this morning. He told me to get more rest & then he quietly left to go to our coffee shop & bring me breakfast in bed 🥺 I am so loved.

I didn’t even think to take photos before we started eating BUT!!! I made chicken & pearl couscous for dinner. Topped the chicken with homemade zhoug & served it with pita, homemade hummus, and sumac red onions.

I think I died and went to heaven it was so good.
