Started a new crochet project tonight and I am obsessed! I’m accustomed to making things that are pretty repetitive, so having each row be unique is really fucking cool and I am so here for it. Also this yarn is STUNNING. It’s hard to see in the photo, but it has a fine silver thread in it.

Last month I saw a reel about shifting away from looking at tasks as wanting/needing to do something and instead focusing on what you like, and that has helped me make more positive change in my life than any other reframe I’ve tried.

Work was going just fine and then I thought about the pizza oven my in-laws gave us bc they bought a Ninja one they like better & now I’m distracted and thinking about building a pergola over our back patio to accommodate a more year-round outdoor kitchen.

This weekend I went out into Fucking Nowhere, Central WA for what is perhaps the coolest event I have ever attended. Think DIY punk basement show meets summer camp. It was so fucking fun, I was willingly up until 2am.

We finally finished processing plums last night. I didn’t do a final count, but the 7cu.ft. chest freezer is totally full, as predicted. Plus some of our regular inside freezer.
Shoutout to Facebook Marketplace because we were able to get a sweet deal on a chest freezer that we will absolutely be filling up by the time this weekend is over.
It’s a plum harvesting weekend. There are already six full ziplock bags in the freezer. The tree is still so full.

I’m supposed to crochet a cardigan for my friend but that’ll be pretty quick and is more autumnal so what if I just made my bf a collared shirt that matches the colors I just used to make myself a cute boho shirt
