I baked 2 of the #GF pear filled pastries from frozen. Applied an egg wash using an egg beaters type product and a sprinkle of turbinado sugar. 400°F for about 26 minutes and YUM!

It's game day #BillsMafia !! Are you cooking? Got chili in the crockpot! Did I use enough spices? LOL I have learned that the "sweeter" spices round out heat and depth of flavor. Secret ingredient? A bottle of Guinness!

Today's #GF #baking effort, some to eat today and a lot for the freezer. Made fruit pastries with puff pastry both GF and regular. The lighter pastry on left GF. Used homemade tart cherry, pear and apple pie filling. Vacuum sealed pastry in twos for the freezer. Also made a 6" tart cherry pie.

Another low effort, high flavor #GF #SundayDinner. Flounder filet with #Wegmans Rosemary Balsamic marinade cooked on the George Foreman 2.5 min, lemon dill lentil salad and garlic spinach. Heaviest lift was cooking lentils for 30 min.

I do love to crochet a fun picture! My favorite almost 5 yo will be 5 in Dec. He picked out design! I have been crocheting a long time but recently learned about foundation rows that mix chain and first row! I will never go back to making a long chain!

Where do you throw away needles and where do you store injections/meds you might ask? Just like Dr office! Sharps container I mail back when full of used injectors(almost a year for me). And yes, a safe! I have a number of medications that could be dangerous in wrong hands. #chronicillness #meds

Today's GF cooking effort, pot roast with rainbow carrots, parsnips, a rutabaga and onion, celery and garlic. No spuds in crockpot, will make mashed. Deglazed pan with Aruma Caro Melbec which is outstanding. Cooking for an hour so far. Dinner is at 6:30 pm! 🍴
