What a story from Carl Nassib, detailing a particular display of allyship from the Cleveland Browns’ offensive line before they even knew he was out. And kudos to Ryan Clark, Channing Crowder and Fred Taylor for channeling that same vibe. It’s what I saw in Tampa too.

it is very telling of these guys’ conception of how power works that they see issuing a flurry of executive orders as evidence of presidential strength and vigor and not a sign that the president is too weak to pursue a serious legislative agenda

And—in particular—don’t be silent for the sake of being polite. We’re not taking about politics in the ordinary sense anymore. This is about decency and morality and whether or not this country chooses to become a thoroughly criminalized state instead of an imperfect representative democracy.
You can't shame MAGA. It's impossible to shame shameless people. I go on and debate them, trust me. They will make excuses for and glorify Musk's Nazi salute and Trump pardoning violent insurrectionists. But remember there's a world out there - and the majority opposes it. Be loud. Don't be silent.

I'm sorry but the Dems are ridiculously bad at their Hegspeth questions. IMO, if you want to prove someone is incompetent, you ask them the hardest strategic questions they will have to know to succeed at the job

Every question from the senators should have been job specific like this. This demonstrates lack of preparedness. This could have convinced 3 republicans he isn’t the right one for the job
YIKES! Duckworth asks Hegseth to name a country that's in ASEAN. He names three -- none of which are in ASEAN.

It's important to keep focused on the bigger picture - it's about ALL disaster responses for ALL Americans. We also need to ensure the government can be nimble in these emergencies.

As we approach Jan 6, I had a discussion with officers Michael Fanone, and Harry Dunn, about that day, the conspiracies that won’t die, and the way forward. Although my audio is horrible, theirs is great. Take a listen and click to watch:
