The next three photos show my personal journal. The book is 160 x 170 mm and done in a double stitch variant of the crisscross binding.

The two pictures below is my creative writing notebook. This is mostly for my fanfic drafts. It's an A5 notebook done in a six-stitch variant of crisscross binding. The holes are made with a screwdriver.

Okay. I said I planned to use coptic stitch binding for my journals. But I just learned about crisscross binding (a.k.a., secret Belgian binding). I like this one because it's a supported spine versus that of the coptic. So I'm leaning towards using this instead.

So I plan to do the same notebook, but will be using coptic stitch binding. I am not sure if I'll end up using more than one of these journals. If I do, I'll be rebinding those journals so that all of 2025 will just be in one volume.
