Fair enough. As a spectacle it was a fucking great game though.

Surely we were allowed to watch an interview with an ex-Hull City player and renowned good guy getting emotional about a friend of his who died a few months ago and feel a glimmer of happiness for him?

That second goal was 100% on Amir. His teammates had every right to expect him to do anything other than needless cough up possession like that.

Not sure he does slip. More of a slide when he realises he’s not going to get there? But at that stage of the game I want Ajayi knowing where the forward is and doing something more effective than that.

It was clearly out of the box but it would have been a yellow and free-kick so hardly match altering.

Not the worst take. In those three wins he was ace, QPR especially. He’s such a joy to watch.

True, but even when we improved in that second half they were slicing us open at will a lot of the time, particularly towards the end. The save right at the end by Pandur really saved us but the ‘defending’ before it was abysmal.

Probably. Though Campbell was excellent playing between Kamil and Bowen.

To be fair, a fit Delap in that second half of the season probably gets us in the top six. But McBurnie is the best line leader we’ve had in absolutely ages.
