Okay but I did this once to a door knocker and then I had to actually leave while they covered the rest of my block of flats because you could see my front door and living room from the carpark and they would know if I hadn't gone out.

Okay we made our flight so perhaps I was a bit overdramatic. We weren't expecting people to actually agree to the very low compensation amount to fly later.

Anyway this was one of two flights, for a 24hr trip to see our wedding location and meet with vendors, so we are pretty peeved. Hoping they can still get us to our destination today but given up hope of making today's appointments.

I don't really understand how, given how long ago we booked this, unless it's because we booked a basic fare with no luggage and are therefore less deserving of getting on the plane that we bought tickets for.
