Biden should pardon everyone who might be considered by the incoming Trump admin to have violated the Comstock act’s abortion provision, despite the fact that threats to enforce Comstock are based both on an erroneous reading of the act and an approach long rejected by federal courts.

These are the costs right-wing extremists *knew* people would pay when they overturned Roe v. Wade and enacted barbaric bans in state after state. Real peoples’ lives are at stake and we must do everything we can to protect our reproductive rights — starting with repealing the Comstock Act.
