Paying for 1-2 real projects is fine but more? But figuring out more affordable alt like Coolify/Dokploy and friends to a level that it works well enough for me takes quite a bit of time and ultimately costs more (for now).

Yeah. I'm using Render. It's quite good. But it's expensive (simiar hosting like Vercel, Heroku, etc is expensive and Render is reasonably cheaper) so I've always wanted to save some by switching. It's especially so it's less costly to start and try new projects.

That’s already close to the Claude Max $200 plan. How do you compare the output and your restraint (because API) if you have used Claude Code?
