It's definitely possible but I ran into a roadblock during implementation. Everything I am doing is with that in mind though, so I shouldn't need too much effort to add the functionality later once I get through the roadblock. This categories code is an example of that

One day I'd like to have the ability to mod in additional tilesets by simply adding a tileset to the specified folder inside the folder that is created when you 'create' a level inside the editor. That way all of the tiles and their data can be modded in via a regular old TileSet created in Godot

Compared to our previous workflow, the level editor has already shown its value and I'm nowhere close to being finished yet. It took me so long to figure out how to break them out into usable code, but now that it's done i will never say anything bad about you again TileSets I love you TileSets

One day I'll probably write an article about how this whole thing is set up, because I think it's super neat. Using TileSets as a base, we're able to easily add new tiles and objects and with my additions to the editor, we don't have to worry about organization in the tileset itself as much.
