Yeah 😩 I’d say run a public health campaign, but there’s too much influence from Nestle, Kraft etc in governments to do it. Current gov guidance is still 5 fruit & veg a day, whereas the science is saying we should be having 20+ different plants a week for optimum gut health. Go vegan kids 🌱

V true! Also the 54g/day the USDA recommended a few decades ago was for the 99th percentile, i.e. so that it met the needs of 99% of the US population. Most eat way over. I’ve never met a person with protein deficiency, but I’ve met a lot of people with diseases associated with low-fibre diets!
