Retired New Mexico lawyer (he/him)
Sorry.

I did a little bit of ethics law during my career, but misusing the law to play creepy political rat-fucking games was never my specialty.

I haven't a clue beyond what everyone else is saying: something about a distraction from the Epstein files?

Bar association involvement comes much later.

I doubt these "investigations" will become lawsuits, like the desperate "Stop the Steal" effort to hijack the 2020 election that resulted in lawyers getting disbarred.

More likely: a judge will quash the subpoenas and we'll never hear about it again.

This would be better if the AI had been prompted to only include women in the background who have had the "Mar-a-lago" facelift

for now, just this fuck in particular

I start off reading this article thinking there must be an explanation. Clickbait has conditioned me to expect that

Then I read the part of the story where "the project is now on hold" and realize

no

it really was that bad

Are you sure I wasn't mocking the Apple TV series?

The scenes with the children remind me of the "Cadillac of the Sky" scene 1987 film, Empire of the Sun

The sentimental portrayal of a British child's pro-American enthusiasm at the close of WWII is now a trope

I lived on one hill and the school was on top of another hill. So it was at least half uphill BOTH ways.

But you try and tell that to young people today ...

A union brought the case

Conservatives' "compelled speech" union-busting argument comes back to bite them

With the United States becoming a net exporter of fossil fuels and transition to renewables becoming ever more necessary to avoid climate disaster, pressure mounts to convert the Strategic Oil Reserve into a Strategic Pun Reserve

They really need to hire Sean Dunn as a spokesperson.

They could erase the stain of Jared
November 7, 2025 at 12:37 AM
Wait until they release the "Animal Crossing: the Hague Trials" expansion to get the full experience
November 7, 2025 at 12:07 AM
Sean's defense lawyer, who cross-examined the "victim" in this case and got him to say the sandwich "exploded"... she might have helped.

But the grand juries that threw this case out without ANY help from any lawyers deserve ALL the credit
