Don’t you just love this mug?! It was a gift from one of my friends who is a fellow Regency romance lover. It’s not quite the same thing as being at the Jane Austen festival in Bath, but it still got me in the spirit. I used the Fortnum & Mason tea I had from the last time I was in London.

“There’s an overarching mystery, but the romance takes center stage, as it should…I was shocked and in such a good way. I would have been pleased with the predictable ending, but this ending was so much more satisfying.” Steph, Goodreads review.

“These past few days had been some of the most painful ones he could remember.” Wait, or was it the past several days? Or the past week?

Writing tips I wish I could tell my past self: keep a calendar for your story’s events. It helped me organize “A Lady’s Dangerous Secret” better.

I love historical romance because it transports you to a different time period and encourages you to imagine what it would have been like (with artistic license of course).

Why do you like your favorite genre?

Did you know? In Regency, London, ice cream was a popular sweet, but Parmesan ice cream was a favorite flavor! Would you eat it?

Did you know? Swans are usually monogamous but not all the time. They separate/reunite, cheat, or divorce. Seems like the makings of a romance novel to me!

Did you know? Dangerous decorating: 19th century wallpaper sometimes contained arsenic, which they only found was harmful when families began to get sick.
