I ignored conventional advice (reddit threads from 7 yrs ago) re moving for grad school and decided to keep all my worthless crap and move it across country instead and now I'm really in a state. Moving sucks. I should have thrown everything in the dumpster and set it on fire and never looked back.

I don't know why I sometimes still get sucked into going out of my way to assist customers. It always backfires. Awful people, customers.

Also that all the service industry workers make 15/hour plus tips is reassuring. Can't believe I have to sit in a restaurant and be served by someone making 3 bucks an hour just because I'm too lazy to make dinner. I'm gonna feel like I have to tip 50 percent and somehow the food is not cheaper??

One thing I'll really really miss about Portland is living within short walking distance of 50+ food carts.

I often worry that I reached my mental peak about 5 years ago and maybe a recent sign of my long slow decline is that now think Christopher Nolan's movies are deep. The Prestige blew my mind! I even like The Dark Knight.

Taco Bell currently trying to figure out how to make a movie about that Chihuahua but it's not racist. Movie will be subversive tho lots of jokes about shitting yourself after Taco Bell. Neil Hamburger will make a cameo.

I'm not seeing Barbie but this marketing has been insane. There's gonna be a rash of garbage now. Remember that I predicted the Taco Bell movie. I bet it's in early development as we speak.
