San Francisco is the same. So far, our current mayor's One Big Idea was "station cops at a single intersection 24/7 for six months" and they finally ended that recently because it cost tons of money and...did effectively nothing. It (predictably) just pushed everyone to the surrounding streets.

They made five Grand Theft Autos in less time (2001 - 2013) than the time between Grand Theft Auto V and VI (2013 - 2026).

As a friend pointed out, it's actually half a cobblestone street. Cobblestones in the foreground, normal asphalt in the background (starting from the right-hand side).

I can't even figure out which bridge it's meant to be. It's the Golden Gate's silhouette but it's lit up like (and seemingly has the stacked roadways of) the Bay Bridge. Regardless, none of the topography makes sense.

There isn't a single bay window in sight.

One year we went over spring break when the park was basically empty and there was a guy in the back row who said he had ridden GASM 23 times straight without getting off the train. My buddy and I sat in the second-to-last row. We made it 3x around and then my friend was sick the rest of the day.

As someone who grew up going to this park, I can tell you it already kicked the shit out of people in 2003.
