How could a vow help you,
not chain you but liberate you
to live your best life
in harmony with the universe?

My vow is “I will live with reverence for all life”
and as long as I keep that in the core of my being
I can move with integrity through each day.

What is a vow?
A solemn promise,
an affirmation,
a hope grounded in love,
a wish wrapped in wisdom,
a desire dipped in Spirit

..and sat with many dying people and their families, taken funerals, and been soothed and renewed by their generosity and kindness, and by nature and yoga.

Over the last twelve months I have had the joy of witnessing my stepdaughter’s marriage and thus gained another member of the family in her husband, I have had highs and lows, sat with a gravely ill family member and delighted at their recovery…

So, here we go! Prompt for today is “Me”! I revisited last year’s prompt “Who am I?” and have included the collage in this year’s because, yes, I’m still me! And yet I’m also changing, growing, and possibly maturing!

Let us step into this day with a desire
to learn,
to reflect,
to admit,
to forgive,
to love.
