I’ve read a lot about the The revolutionary war and early American history. Ken Burns' American Revolution pulls a lot of that together in clean narrative. Most images of the revolution show white guys signing documents. It was actually a bloody, brutal and deadly affair fought in the street.

Just looked out of curiosity, $22 starting Air Traffic Controllers is pathetic. I started at $29 as cook 1 at a resort. the pay gets better after many years and good performance.

When I was manager at TGI Fridays in Marina Del Rey CA in 1981, I had 3 different people who punched in to the time card with Ysidro Ramirez on it. All 3 of them knew the job did a bang up job. None of them spoke any English I didn’t question it, it just worked

Saw people posting pix of snow on Mauna Kea. If there was any, it was fleeting. It’s very cloudy and wet. This is wrong type of storm for snow. We need storms from the North - North/West. This storm is from the south, bringing warm/wet weather.

When they replaced the A/C core on my Elantra they had to take out the entire dash and the seats. Happy to see they didn’t find any body parts or uneaten fast food. There was a pocket knife and a bamboo back scratcher.
