I call my main shed mouse Scribbles, because the noises he makes sounds exactly like a quill pen on paper. He is very loud. Not sure how he hasn't been eaten yet.

Im literally talking to the mice in my shed that are fighting like they can understand me. Yet every time they anger squeak, I can't help myself and say "guys!"

I think i finally understand superstition. I want to say we are close to opening, but am scared that if I do, the universe is gonna smoosh me flat, like 'bish, you thought what?'

Not even open yet but my coffee manager is getting rando solicitations from mccoffeeshop guys. If I wanted a franchise, I would have bought one. God knows it would have been easier than what I'm trying to do.

Hey everyone: we got stalled for several months trying to get completed drawings for the city, but that is finally done! (I HOPE) Now waiting to hear back from the city, and I sincerely hope we can start moving again and get construction done!

Y'all, business progress aside, take care of your backs. I threw mine out all the way to the 9th circle of hell four days ago and I'm still not ok. Backs apparently control most of movement. I'll be OK but damn. Take care of your back!

I should update, its progress? The shop now looks like an archeological dig. I have learned about pipes, sump pumps, and how the kilowatts of a water heater can make your day or fuck you over. That said, I have an utterly amazing team on my side, who are kind, knowledgeable and just plain awesome

I haven't been so great with updates, and I apologize. A bad insomnia jag hath me in thrall. However, things are looking good! Construction has started and I found a good local supplier.
