It's a tricky one. Lots of potential crossover. This one, coffee snob, obviously, but potentially too ostentatious for 6music Dad. What am I talking about? Parenthood precludes any sort of beard-care. I think we all just end up with a generic "David Bellamy".

Couldn't resist. Had a trial run. Morning starter - chn came in to random objects on their desks, all found in the classroom. 15 mins to cover as much of paper as possible with sketches. Only rules: no rubbers. No restarting. #sketchbooking #primaryEd #primaryArt 1/2

Nativity season is my favourite time of year: colleagues stop telling me I remind them of Mr Tumble and tell me I remind them of Mr Poppy. Not sure either comparison is desirable but I've decided to roll with it. No more correcting kids' mispronunciation of my name - in 2025 I'll be Mr Crackers.

I love the stories that go with antique furniture. This "belonged to Kingsley Amis". I have absolutely no reason not to believe this and enthusiastically remind my kids of it while they perch on it to do their homework.
