To win the argument with those critical, disappointed Leave voters, it needs a credible plan, now more than ever, to repair all the damage, not just one that fiddles around at the edges

The „Dead“ portion of the people is a very technocratic mention of voters that have left the planet
when you did too much outsourcing and you literally cant drill for oil anymore you need to get creative.
So just to be clear: This military build up and these strikes were never about stopping drugs.

doing a kind of year and wrap up on what has happened in the semiconductor world in 2025 and its a ton. holy cow. Renesas, Wolfspeed, Nexperia ... non of them a minor player and all of them had their issues.

what disturbs me in the recent discussion about the US national security paper is that obviously @vonderleyen.ec.europa.eu and @kajakallas.bsky.social have zero intelligence what is cooking in the US and need to adjust when it has happened and not when its in the works already.

with the current behaviour of Trump it seems he finally got sick and tired with the Ukraine conflict. took him quite long to figure out its not going to be ended within 24hrs ...

In the last few days the EU learned once again that the USA is not a reliable partner anymore. I guess its time now to close their bases, tell the troops to go home and implement the taxes for the US tech giants.

we have a marten since a while in our neighbourhood so we put out a trap with eggs to relocate it to somewhere this thing cannot damage cars and such things. The eggs are vanishing from the trap but its not a marten, its a mouse stealing them ...

i did write two small businesses via mail recently. both have not made it to an answer. i guess this is why people also go to online shopping. level of service is sometimes same but price is online significantly cheaper ...

well to be frank, Merz is easy to be disliked. His politics are lacking every knowledge that is there and his cabinet is also not the brightest. people are now realizing that Habeck was not as bad as they thought and CDU/CSU still has not realized that adopting AfD policies is likely to backfire.
A thought. In 2022-24 incumbents did terribly everywhere and the most common explanation was voters hating inflation.
