I've been on bluesky for a year and a half, and I had been on twitter since 2008 before I quit last November. So speaking as someone who is pretty experienced with both I am much happier here. The moderation tools and general vibe here tend to discourage gratuitous drama and trolling.

Being on Blue Sky feels like entering a new house. It's still pretty bare and needs a lot of work, but the process of settling in is still rather exciting. Plus, I get to slowly meet other artists on the move too!

A few last pictures of the BBC Micro that i will be sending to live with the @mediaarchaeology.bsky.social Lab soon. Its been upgraded with 32k sideways RAM and a quad-bank EPROM. Has the TurboSPI sd card module as well as a PiTube for second CPU emulation.
