Our responsibility lies in our awareness of the political and cultural issues explored in therapy and ensuring that we are obliged to engage with client's contextually. In therapy with anxiety/depression, which stem from their social financial, or political sisituation as well as personal history.
How to work with justice/injustice in Therapy
I have been trained in and practised for the last 25 to 30 years in Person-centred Therapy which is a branch of humanistic psychology that fundamentally focuses on individual needs in a client-centred way. Its main purpose is to help individuals develop their inner strengths and find their own path, rather than being directed by the therapist's perspective. One of the core beliefs in Person-Centred Therapy is that the client understands best what is happening in their life and what the underlying issues are for them that bring them to counselling.

Every year, from 25 November to 10 December, the world unites for 16 Days of Activism — a global movement led by UN Secretary-General António Guterres to end violence against women and girls. So let's join him and help him to end the violence for good.
Understanding the Legacy of the Mirabal Sisters
I thought I would share a link with my readers about this very important piece of history and its significance. 16 days of activism is a celebration of the Three sisters – Patria, Minerva and Maria Teresa Mirabal – who were brutally assassinated on 25th November 1960 after bravely opposing Dominican dictator Rafael Trujillo and leading an underground movement that exposed the systemic violence of his oppressive regime.

25th November is chosen to be the elimination of violence against women because three sisters called Mirable sisters were killed in 1960 by the state on that day and the violence is still continuing, please join the movement to stop it.

You might need the therapy before and end of it too. Every change is a proces and some processes can be emotionalally tiring and draining so to go through it with the maximum strength, therapy can be beneficial.

I am highly critical of the system in the UK, which primarily serves native English people and expects everyone else to simply accept whatever is provided, even when it does not meet their individual or cultural needs.
From Outsider to Insider: A London Story
Inspired by the competition promoted by various groups and individuals in London, I wanted to express my gratitude and share my feelings about my experiences in London and English culture as a whole. Interacting with individuals who perceive me as an outsider has created a complex and tangled dynamic as I strive to blend in with mainstream culture. Therefore, I will begin with a basic understanding of how I have become the person I am today and discuss my struggles in navigating this experience.

Shame on so-called civilized nations to treat women in the way they do - all because of their archaic religion and their followers as far-right men and brainwashed women. It is high tim to end their terrain.

Wake up in the morning with gloom but soon all go deep into the moon. Feel I cant breath until I get out to have fresh air, hoping it gives me the stamina to bear with despair. Once one in a deep place of engaging but soon you can hear stories of raging and I loose the will to live yet some never have a chance to live.

Mental health treatment needs to shift from viewing individuals as sick patients to recognizing that society itself is the true patient in need of healing. Social change is the necessary remedy. Human problems are contextual rather than solely individual, they encompass both political and personal.
