Last nigh, I decided to direct warp my RH loom to try a scarf (first project) and there were some challenges. 1) My cat. 2)Finishing and realizing the heddle was upside-down and not seated properly to function as a heddle. I'm going to reconvene tomorrow and string everything through again.

Hello knitsky and fiber friends, please talk me out of buying a rigid heddle loom and tell me specifically why it shouldn't be a 16" Ashford and why it won't be awesome to make 100 scarves. This was a sudden urge starting 4 days ago and I can't stop thinking about it. 🧶 🪡🧵🧣

Got on a wild tangent with my partner just now about how much I hate Hey, Whaddya Know? I listened to so much NPR when I was a SAHM and that was the show that broke me. The genesis of this grumpy reverie was explaining why I hate vocal jazz and some musical theatre.

I just went nuts and bought a bunch of burpee seeds on clearance at Walmart. I've not tried a fall garden before but we've had weeks of hot weather and it's finally raining. Plus, when the mood hits future me to wintersow in January, I'll be ready. #gardening #delusions #impulsivity

3 years ago, I planted some wild black raspberry canes from my mom's in my back yard. Like...5 berries last year. This year, I'm fulfilling my lifelong aspiration to eat fresh berries everyday like some greedy unrepentant bear/Martha Stewart.
