Literally no one in the CFB world of any repute thought this was a good idea. *Most* people with even a casual understanding of CFB could see that a geriatric coach who washed out of his last 5 NFL interviews and was in the midst of a personal crisis / elder abuse incident was a bad idea

When you use federal funds that should be funding public schools to pay for private / charter schools you are creating a self-fulfilling prophecy.
