Old northerner from the mills of Huddersfield. Grew up in black and white soot stained back streets. World maker in Unreal Engine. Optimist.
Currently reading Aircrew by my Uncle Bruce Lewis. Bruce found a real person for each crew role and tells their individual story. Bruce survived 35 missions over Germany when over half did not.

Found this Fossil today. I thought it would be easy to identify with the internet and everything but fossil id apps are total rubbish and no use at all. I believe its a Cycad of some sort.

Just an ordinary wood locally but pretty much every wood in the UK at this time of year has bluebells and from a distance looks like a blue shimmering carpet.

Wow awesome. I not a painter but love art it was just so cool seeing the skeleton of how the walls were done. The artwork was simply stunning and to think how it was all over the houses.

This was one of the most fascinating sights for me Paul. The artists foundation lines scratched on the wall as painting guides. Craftworkers at work.

Well worth a visit. Herculaneum is better. Less people more detail. We stayed in a flat down here. Not much changed in 2,000 years.
