@chadyoung.bsky.social I've got a $58 Freddie Freeman in a longtime Ottoneu points league with high inflation. My backup 1B options are Kyle Manzardo ($4) and Jhonkensy Noel ($7). Thoughts?

A most memorable night as my wife and I drove 90 miles - much of it through a wild snowstorm - to see Dean Johnson play in one of our favorite rooms: The Trout Lake Hall at the foot of Mt. Adams. We ran into several Portland friends, and it was a blast to see old friend Garett Brennan open up.

The problem isn't that Emmanuel Clase should've won the AL Cy Young. Tarik Skubal clearly deserved it. The problem is that there isn't a BBWAA award to recognize one of the greatest seasons by a reliever in history. And I think the BBWAA should do something about that www.nytimes.com/athletic/593...
It’s time for the BBWAA to add a Reliever of the Year Award
No reliever has won the Cy Young Award since Eric Gagne in 2003. It's time to give them a chance at a prestigious award.

New: Old-growth forests are key to slowing climate change and to protecting endangered species. In Oregon, logging in Bureau of Land Management-controlled areas has continued at a steady pace despite Biden’s promise to protect these forests.
Despite Biden's Promise to Protect Old Forests, His Administration Keeps Approving Plans to Cut Them Down
In Oregon’s Coast Range, mature forests can absorb more carbon per acre than almost any other on the planet. Yet logging here continues at a steady pace, putting the environment at risk.

First post on bluesky. Portland, Oregon based, but our home is surrounded by native forest. As such, I get into the woods for a hike or trail run at least once each day.
