Went to a dear friend’s wedding today, and what a delightful, joyous occasion! She was gorgeous and beaming, he was gentle and grinning ear to ear, the family and friends were full of love and support. And? My fave: BOARD GAMES! Well planned and well played! What a great way to spend an afternoon!
Turns out having a bunch of 13 year old, queer, neurospicy kids in your house is loud, chaotic, and endearing. No one gets left out. No one is not considered in group decisions. These kids are a special, delightful bunch and I adore them.

I spent most of yesterday teaching two tweens to sew. I am also going through early menopause. The result is that I was doing a not strenuous thing and sweating buckets.
Oh tweens. One of them told me I need a better deodorant combo because my current sucked. 🤣😂
