Got a moose bumper on my rig, kinda thinking of having it painted…

Just out of curiosity, would any artists be interested in painting a moonlight pine forest scene with foxes running across it? It would match the company logo decal I’ve got in the works.

@apertureflash.bsky.social How’s your flag holding up? About 700 miles in and mine is in pretty bad shape. I don’t know how much longer those grommets will hold, so (if it survives) at 1,000 miles I’ll take it down and auction it off for the Trevor project.

As a long haul trucker, I’ve been paying attention to the political chatter on the CB radio. I’ve been hearing a LOT less manic excitement about trump and a lot more weary “I hope he knows what he’s doing”

Most don’t use CB any more, only the most “traditional” drivers use it. That says something

Pulling into a factory today there must have been a shift change cuz there were a ton of people walking around. I drove past a couple little older ladies and they cheered and clapped for me. I think it was because trucking is a traditionally masculine job. Feels good x3

I caught a meteor or piece of space junk or something entering the atmosphere on my dashcam a couple days ago. I didn’t hear anything, but it was so bright I could clearly see it through the clouds. Is it normal for meteors to glow green?

Sorry for being so quiet recently, been a bit distracted after being in a truck crash.

It started snowing earlier then forecasted, hill turned to black ice, yellow truck jackknifed, and due to hill+ice, I couldn’t stop in time.

I’ll upload dashcam footage when I get the ok from insurance.

Same truck and setting as the last photo, but one was taken before the truck was moved. The truck is pressed up against a metal barrier being reinforced by a snow drift. Beyond that is a steep slope with snow covered trees. Same as the last two photos, but the rear bumper is impaling the front bumper of the blue truck. A yellow truck jackknifed across an icy highway, the front bumper is on the left shoulder and the rear trailer bumper is on the right shoulder. The truck and trailer are at a 90° angle and there’s 3 people standing next to the cab. The interstate is completely blocked, there’s no space to get around them.

I just realized I haven’t shared my news truck or puppy! Signed the 5 year lease just over a year ago, found the puppy just a couple months after.

For the truck, $60,000 paid so far, another $200,000 to go, and she’ll officially be mine. (Unfortunately, trailer not included)

I had an interesting realization today. I don’t usually think of my gender much, usually just sum it up as “trans fem / NB” or “tomboy”, but that never felt entirely right.

I think I’m NB in the way that you can’t tell a wild fox’s sex just by looking.
