I prepared my Wabi Thunder for the rainy season by adding full fenders. They match the style of the bicycle well. I also added a pump and battery lights.

I spent some quality time with my Yuki sewing machine last weekend and made a bag to transport a foldable crate. I don’t have much practice but I’m happy with the outcome. #sewing

Here is a small #woodworking project I did a few weeks ago: a mini barkbox my wife wanted for #dogTraining. A full size barkbox is big enough to for a person to hide in.

From West Seattle we took the water taxi to Seattle. Outside being a practical transit option, it also makes a great attraction for tourists as it features great views of Seattle and #MountRainier.

My father-in-law visited us and I took him on a #bicycle tour through #Renton, along the #Duwamish River to #WestSeattle. We ended up using 4 modes of transportation: #cycling, #waterTaxi, #bus, and #train (and a bit of walking). The bicycle is just a great way to explore the city.

I ran an errand with the Road Runner. It is not the most practical bicycle for errands but I did not need to carry much (a backpack was sufficient) and it sure is fast. A large part of the route is using a multi use trail. It’s nice to see so many blooming trees. #bicycle #bikeEverywhere #spring

Today, I felt like baking with a Dutch oven. I usually bake this #sourdough #khorasan recipe under steam but it worked nicely in the Dutch oven. The crumb is slightly softer and the crust a bit thinner. This will be an excellent sandwich bread. #bread

I made a quick #blueberry #cake with Greek yogurt. The recipe uses “Schmand” which ostensibly is equivalent to sour cream but I think Greek yogurt is a better substitute. #baking
