Completed 'Nobody Wants To Die' in two sittings, a solid seven hours that immerses you in a science fiction noir short story. Fantastic concepts, stunning visuals, enjoyable puzzles—really enjoyed my time with this!

This is the fourth Halo novel I've had the pleasure of working on, and this one is an absolute beast—characters and story threads many years in the making come to a head while laying foundations for the future.

Onto Alan Wake II at last!

I've not had an awful lot of time to play this yet, but "Euro Truck Simulator in space" is just too good of a concept not to get a mention here. I am still trying to master the art of docking with stations.

I need to jump into the new update, my schedule has taken me away from this game over the last few months, but it's easily the best multiplayer title I've played this year. So happy to see the level of success it's had—always have time for cooperative PvE games like this!

A simple 2D golf game with stunning artwork and some really fantastic satirical narrative flavor. A fun puzzle platformer in a bleak world ruined by ecological disaster.

Roguelite deck builder that feels like a mix of FTL and Slay the Spire? This scratches a very specific itch that I am going to lose MANY hours to over the holiday break. Highly recommend!

The ten-year wait was worth it. Veilguard had one hell of a development cycle, obviously a lot of compromises were made, but I had a fantastic time across the 80 hours of my first playthrough. Also features the best combat in a BioWare game since Mass Effect 3.

Geometry Wars 2 is one of my favourite games of all time. Somebody had the bright idea of combining that game (and I really mean basically just straight up making a sequel) with Vampire Survivors and the result is glorious, I've been playing this A LOT recently.

Absolutely loved Max Caulfield's return in Double Exposure, Hannah Telle's performance was obviously a stand-out, but I did not expect to fall in love with the other characters so quickly. Very excited about where the series goes from here!

I've been revisiting Remedy's earlier games, starting with the original Alan Wake. I remember playing this originally back in 2011 and traversing the dark forests scared the shit out of me—I'm not much braver now to be honest, but I am at least able to appreciate it more.

After a decade of investment in Destiny, I really enjoyed the conclusion to the saga.
I've not managed to keep up with the subsequent Episodes, I really felt a sense of closure from this expansion, but I look forward to jumping back in at some point.

I have been playing this non-stop for the better part of two years now. I am down to just one final achievement—119 out of 120. Been putting off getting the final one, but suffice it to say this game sunk its hooks in deep for me.

NEVA (2024)
GRIS is one of my favourite games of all time, Nomada Studio's follow-up is absolutely stunning—"every frame a painting" couldn't be truer than knowing you're pressing the screenshot button as often as attack.
