One of the most unforgettable and arresting first-time cinematic experiences of all time. For two and a half hours, it was as if the rest of the world ceased to exist.
8 years ago today, ‘BLADE RUNNER 2049’ released in theaters.

Could not believe my eyes when even the work-in-progress version of Levi's cover came in—an artist who I've admired since I was a young'un on the Bungie forums reading A Fistful of Arrows.

Still can't quite believe that this will soon be a real thing that exists!

A lovely thread on genAI and game design from the ever-phenomenal @lizardengland.bsky.social
the problem with gen AI characters just from purely a game design & player experience standpoint is that the characters are unmemorable and boring, there's no way to feel clever when talking to them, and even if you roleplay when talking to them they won't remember or react to that meaningfully

With the rampant and rising transphobia in America, I just want to be extremely clear that transphobes deserve absolutely nothing. Trans people deserve to live freely and safely and anyone who thinks, speaks or acts against trans people is not worthy of breathing. May transphobes perish

While I haven't really been gelling with the combat, there isn't so much as a single frame of NEVA that doesn't make me want to get back to painting. This game is utterly beautiful—nobody does it quite like Nomada Studio.

Completed 'Nobody Wants To Die' in two sittings, a solid seven hours that immerses you in a science fiction noir short story. Fantastic concepts, stunning visuals, enjoyable puzzles—really enjoyed my time with this!

HALO: EMPTY THRONE released today!

This is the fourth Halo novel I've had the pleasure of working on, and this one is an absolute beast—characters and story threads many years in the making come to a head while laying foundations for the future.

I miss video game manuals so much. Opening the case to get That New Game Smell™, the artistry and lore put into these little bits and bobs was something I always really loved and appreciated. A real shame this was such an early casualty of the push towards digital.
A long time ago, games used to come with manuals. The prologue of Max Payne.
