Why spend this amount of money on this? Private Equity isn’t going to suddenly swoop in with new management, not really something they do.
And it’s not as if EA need the additional cash.
So yeah, I expect they see it worth more sold off in parts than as a whole.

I have absolutely no faith in this working out 😅.
Software as a whole has been grappling with this problem for years! Migrating people from V1 to V2 is a nightmare, and this is an order of magnitude more complex.
And they’re getting oracle to do it 🤣

I get slack has to make money, but this seems like a great way to kill off a source of future potential customers…
