Just got home to find the first of two books I have coming out this year (!) has arrived!
This has been years in the making, dreamed up during COVID, developed under multiple governments, edited during ongoing wars, and finished after one of the editors, Geoff Hinchliffe, sadly passed away.

UEA is trying to fire hundreds of my colleagues and insist that they "don't think that students and staff will notice... these are modest changes to our overall budget."

This idea that the internet is somehow becoming more anodyne because there are repercussions for abuse is...odd
