I haven't been posting much...feeling depressed and retreating into hanging out with my kitties for the most part. Here's some more of my art - 'The Artist', 16 x 22", Pastel, Carbon, Charcoal and Conte on Stonehenge. I finished this one in the spring of 2023. What do you guys think?

My piece, 'The Centre Cannot Hold' (2019) which was the sister piece to 'Things Fall Apart' (see profile). This was the first time I tried my hand at a diptych. Pastel, Charcoal, Carbon and Conte on Bristol. Interpretations differ about what I was getting at here!

I drew this in 2020 after George Floyd's murder. I am not religious, but think it is possible that Jesus existed as a historical figure. If he returned, what if it was as a woman? Wouldn't she stand with the protesters? What would she think of many of her followers standing with the oppressors?

So much to be concerned and fearful about over the last few days, so I thought I'd post what makes me happy. Here's my boy Onyx and young lady Venus ❤️

It's been about a month since I joined, and I like this place! Such a cool, laid-back vibe. I really feel like these are my people here. Can't wait to watch this place grow!

Happy New Year! Some more of my art. This one is titled 'A Fleeting Moment' - one of 5 pieces of mine in 'Distorted Mirror', a 6 person group show at Last Rites Gallery in 2016, with David Stoupakis, Jeremy Hush, Heather McClean, Paul Romano, Shane Pierce. Seriously the greatest honor ever!

This was one of my all time faves, and the first in a whole series of Nun pieces focusing on the theme of identity. Titled 'Purity', this was shown at 'Flesh To Canvas', Last Rite's mini show at The NY Empire State Tattoo Expo in 2016.
