Gave it a try, and maybe hero shooters just aren't for me. The gameplay is a mess, doesn't grant the super hero fantasy, and has nothing to "work for". Will I jump in again if they add Doc Ock? Sure. But I think your recent focus on the "death of context" is very relevant here.
