I write stuff and act and play music. Oh, also code and make video games. And animate. I think that's it.
Not for the last time: Ending your horror story with "Surprise! Now the last survivor is dead and the bad guys won!" isn't cool, clever, subversive, or interesting.

It's just a bummer, and you've taken the fun out of it.

The Blue Prince has an excellent core gameplay loop, art direction, and general concept. I do think it is overhyped due to how the game's inherent randomness can lead to ten playthroughs in a row leading to no feeling of progression to the ultimate objective, or even stepping stone sub objectives.

Since when does Notepad have spellcheck? I'm not complaining. It just feel unnatural.

2 episodes in to Skeleton Crew, so not passing judgement, but the American suburb is as stupid and anachronistic as I thought since the trailer. There seems to be some set up for a bigger mystery but that doesn't make the choice any less stupid.

Not writing it off yet, but not convinced yet either.

Dear every movie reviewer ever,

Please retire the "Movie Title [blanks] bite" format for all monster movie reviews going forward. It is officially annoying.

Sincerely,

Just saw the trailer for Disney's Dream Productions. My friends and I made this three years ago. Where's my money Disney?

I want more stories with villains who evoke a cheer when they are defeated, instead of an introspective nod that says "they were right but went too far".

The real world has clear examples of greed driven, undeniably evil villains, and maybe our stories need to remind us of how to recognize them.

The best thing I can say about Marvel Rivals is that the designs would make for some rad toys. #gaming #marvel

What a succinct summary.
"People don’t cheer for chaos when they feel like justice is possible. But right now, what options do they have? Of course Mangione gets turned into a meme hero—it’s not him they love; it’s the idea of someone finally fighting back.”

Some art I did for a TV pitch I put together once upon a time. Not really sure what to do with the pitch what with not living in LA, but I still really like this image in particular. The pitch was for some kid friendly space horror starring crows. #art #space #crow

I just picked up the Canadian scifi show Starhunter on a whim from a used DvD place.

It's terrible.

However, there should absolutely be a shot for shot remake with Will Forte playing Captain Dante, but with his Clone High Abe voice.

I would like a moon house please. Preferably one of the ones on the moon.
If NASA establishes a permanent presence on the moon, its astronauts’ homes could be made of a new 3D-printable, waterless concrete. Someday, so might yours.
The moon is just the beginning for this waterless concrete
Made from faux Martian and lunar soil, a new sulfur-based compound could also lead to faster construction on Earth.

Good joke, but also, just cool art. I want secret spots in my house that I can pretend little people live in. It seems neat.
