I know fifa did it so it’s not impossible but I think I remember players complaint A LOT about how the ball flew.

Also the added complexity of footballs aren’t spherical so you add huge complexity in calculating farthest point.

(Eh it only works in tennis and volleyball because the ball is uncovered and completely visible to the cameras)

I truly don’t understand how there isn’t a mandate to have a goal line camera. It’s 2024 spend a couple grand and get 2 more cameras.
