I actually didn't watch this series and had no interest in either team winning except i was actively rooting against the Dodgers.

I guess I look at policies to reduce carbon emissions as a good example. That is something that totally makes sense from a rational policy standpoint. But it is seen as being too far left to attract right or center voters.

I guess the question being asked of Democrats is, "do you want to be right or do you want to be King" i.e. it's only about getting elected and not standing for something?
