I'm heartbroken that historical romance isn't getting the love and support it deserves as a sub-genre. As @harperstgeorge.bsky.social put it on Rebel Ever After, histrom teaches us how we can fight oppression *now* by learning from the past.

Shockingly, there have always been progressive folks fighting for change throughout history! Kind heroes are not "historically inaccurate."

I got the rights back to a Harlequin series of mine over a year ago. It’s taken me a while but I finally republished them myself. Eek! You can get all three books and the novella in ebook, paperback, and in Kindle Unlimited. I absolutely love the covers and I hope you do too

With everything so seemingly terrible these days & no sign of anything remotely hopeful in the near future, I thought you might need this photo of a baby giraffe.

I can finally share the cover for ELIZA AND THE DUKE. Isn’t it beautiful?! I can’t stop staring at it. An American heiress who must marry an aristocrat to get her inheritance meets a bare-knuckle brawler prizefighter who totally won’t destroy her carefully laid plans 👀🔥 preorder: bit.ly/3YS5G3K

I'm delighted to have an excerpt from TAROT FOR STORYTELLERS featured on @janefriedman.com's wonderful #writing and #publishing site. (Thanks for hosting me, Jane!)
"We’re continuously surrounded by messages that the only useful information is information that can be quantified with facts and figures. The tarot goes against this, for it urges us to look within our psyches, to trust that there’s more to life than what can be seen and measured."
5 Myths About Tarot That Storytellers Should Know | Jane Friedman
Like love and creativity, the best things in life are intangible. It’s the same with intuition, which the tarot helps us access and develop.

Obligatory book post. The Stranger I Wed is a Gilded Age marriage of convenience between an American heiress and an English earl. Women’s rights, social issues, spicy scenes.

Hi. I write historical romance set in the Gilded Age, which is apparently where we’re headed now. I have two dogs, a cat, and existential dread.
