Right now, major life events like getting married or moving to a new state allow folks to qualify for a special enrollment period to get health care on HealthCare.gov – but pregnancy does not. I’m working to change that.

There is no safe level of lead exposure for our kids.

In 2025 the Year of the Kid, my budget invests over $300 million to get lead out of our homes, schools, day cares, service lines, and communities.

An innocent man was sent to an El Salvadorian prison and the Supreme Court just decided not to bring him back. The rot in this country, in our politics & courts is so much deeper than one man. Do not let their lack of humanity corrode your own. The real question is what are we willing to sacrifice?
