it just… it just really fucking sucks that now when I reread part 2, every single scene with him is made worse knowing how none of this really matters in the end. None of it was relevant to the conclusion of his character and their relationship. All discarded in favor of things we did not see.

Funny how every chapter makes me angrier and more frustrated with Yoshida’s death and that I put any emotional investment in him… an entirely wasted and ultimately pointless character.

here i cleaned this up a little

real love is being able to be near someone without fear, stress or caring about how you are perceived. it’s being able to completely shed ideas of how you should relate to each other designated by the roles put upon you by the world.

Yoshida reminded Denji of that kind of love.
