"Environmentalism" prevents or reduces negative externalities. Fracking bans come about because of the negative externalities. If there weren't any, nobody would care. Negative externalities reduce "material prosperity" for the people affected. This is basic econ.

Everyone is charged the same copays. Use progressive taxation in place of means testing.

Medicaid has pvt insurance participation, so people get to feel like they kept their insurance.

I can't figure out if Dem Senators are actually this stupid when they agree to these deals with GOP "promises," or if they think we're all stupid. At some point, you can only conclude that Charlie Brown wants Lucy to pull away the football.

We remain liquid by keeping our credit good and growing the economy. Stiffing people on contracts, constantly threatening to default on debt, trashing the economy... they're destroying our liquidity.
