"Environmentalism" prevents or reduces negative externalities. Fracking bans come about because of the negative externalities. If there weren't any, nobody would care. Negative externalities reduce "material prosperity" for the people affected. This is basic econ.

Somebody should ask these clowns to explain clearly why they think they know better than the combined experience of the rest of the Senate.

Everyone is charged the same copays. Use progressive taxation in place of means testing.

Medicaid has pvt insurance participation, so people get to feel like they kept their insurance.

People also think it's cheap insurance (it isn't), so (hopefully) they won't be yammering on about... 2/

We remain liquid by keeping our credit good and growing the economy. Stiffing people on contracts, constantly threatening to default on debt, trashing the economy... they're destroying our liquidity.
