In my quest to play 6 new RPGs this year, I've pulled another small #ttrpg off my shelf that I've been eager to try but haven't yet. Just reading KOSMOSAURS feels like eating sugar cereal in front of Saturday morning cartoons circa 1985 - and I mean that as a compliment.

In my quest to play 6 new RPGs this year, I've pulled another small #ttrpg off my shelf that I've been eager to try but haven't yet. Just reading KOSMOSAURS feels like eating sugar cereal in front of Saturday morning cartoons circa 1985 - and I mean that as a compliment.
As part of my "play 6 new RPGs this year" goal, I'm eyeballing GROK. It's a gloriously gonzo science-fantasy world in 32 pages, with a system that mashes up Fate, Knave, and Savage Worlds. I've read it three times, and have yet to get it to the table, but have high hopes for playing it this year.

At the top of my list is DARKNESS OF THE DEMIMONDE, a Victorian pulp horror RPG based on Tunnel Goons. I think it was part of #zinequest 2022? I've been trying to run it for months, but the scheduling's never worked out. Maybe this is the month?
